“The Stick” Review


Holy Sh**. I love this thing.

So, a few months ago I did something really nice. When we were moving from California to Oregon we hired movers. I’m all for turning a move into an awesome physical work out and shlepping my own stuff, but we lived on the top floor of our apartment and I am a bit of a klutz… it seemed like a smart decision to go with movers.

These two guys were awesome. They worked their butts off for us and got everything packed neatly into our U-box in record timing. One of them was talking about how he had been having bad back pain for months but wasn’t about to pay for a professional massage. I decided the right thing to do was to gift him my beloved foam roller.

It was the right thing to do, but I’d be lying if I said there weren’t times I wish I still had it. I for some reason couldn’t get behind the idea of buying another one… Don’t ask me why. I decided it was time to look for a new myo-fascial release tool. Ladies and gentlemen, this is it!!!

Rolling over muscles after a long run with the stick is AH-mazing. It really helps with post-run recovery. If you are a runner and you don’t own one yet, this is a splurge you are sure to love!

  1. Have Jon use it on your traps and upper back after lifting weights or working at the computer … you’ll want to marry him all over again. Or you’ll want to marry the Stick (might be legal in Oregon 🙂 ).
