I mean come on guys, how cute is this bear?! Two foods I always have at work: A giant bag of frozen blueberries (thank you David & Sheila!), and a jar of peanut butter. I started my new job mid April, and I just bought my third jar of peanut butter. I don’t know if that is good or bad, haha.
I keep a wooden bowl, spoon, and knife (where the heck is my wooden fork?! I can’t find it I need to buy a new one) in my office space. Because they make me happy. And make food more appetizing IMO.
So, blueberries are a no-brainer health food. They are one of the best sources of antioxidants! But… peanut butter? The way I see it, there are way worse choices. I consistently have a spoonful around 3-4 pm. 90% of the time I do my week day runs after work, and I don’t want to be hungry (hangry) but I also don’t want to feel super full. PB is the answer, folks.
Around 4:00 pm yesterday I was feeling more hungry than usual. Maybe it’s because as my weekly mileage increases my metabolism is getting faster aka I’m more hungry? Or maybe because for lunch I just had 2 medium-sized potatoes worth of potato wedges (another staple of mine). Either way I was hungry so I also raided the freezer for my berry stash.
