Hi there! As promised in this post, I am sharing why I chose Hansons for my next marathon.
I begin training for the Vernonia Marathon in 8 days!!! Eeek, I literally cannot wait. I first became aware of HMM through listening to the book Running: A Love Story by Jen A. Miller. To my running readers, I HIGHLY recommend this book! You can read my review of it here. I am so glad Jen put Hansons on my radar!
Let’s just jump right into it, shall we? Without further Ado, here are the 3 Reasons why I chose the HMM for my next Full Marathon Training Cycle.
1. The reason I am most on board with this plan is because the longest run of the program is 16 miles (of which you do 3 times). I now know my running self well enough to know that running well over 15 miles, unless I am actually racing, is just not something that appeals to me.
2. It’s a program with strong, enthusiastic supporters.

3. When I called the downtown location of my favorite local family bookstore, they had one copy, used, for $9.95 (I looked at the campus location and they didn’t have any copies). I took it as the final sign, lol.
