Cool Way to Travel with Your Pup and Help Other Pups!

What do you think is the biggest downside to traveling? For me, it is definitely when I have to leave the pup back at home with a sitter. We like to take Barley with us when we travel whenever it is possible.

But sometimes it can be hard to find pet-friendly accommodations that aren’t, quite frankly, completely shabby.

I love tent camping. I really do. When the weather is nice. But I’m just not into being freezing and drenched, which is what camping is for the majority of the year in the Pacific Northwest. (Call me a princess if you want, but I’m just being honest J).

Enter Glamping with Pets. This service is so, so, SO awesome. Like, really. It’s basically Airbnb for nature lovers and animal lovers! The houses/cabins/locations are serious eye candy, and they all are pet friendly!

As if this isn’t cool enough, Glamping with Pets is now even cooler with their Happy Tails Program (you can read all about it on their blog here)! The Happy Tails Program is an initiative which aims to support local animal shelters through donations. International Homeless Animals Day is on August 19, 2017.

For every guest that books a getaway on the pet-friendly booking portal between now and August 19, Glamping with Pets will use a portion of the proceeds to donate to a local animal shelter of the guest’s choice in their name.

What are you waiting for!? Go ahead and book that vacation, whether or not you have a canine companion you’d like to bring along. Like I said, these locations are seriously mouth-watering. (I have an upcoming trip with this service in May in honor of our three-year wedding anniversary that I can’t wait to share on the blog in the future! Seriously swoon-worthy location!! Eek!!!)

Wishing you and your furry pal(s) a very happy next adventure.
