I have always been a bookworm. It started with Amelia Bedelia, The Golly Sisters, Box Car Children, and Sweet Valley High. Then of course there was the age of Harry Potter and A Series of Unfortunate Events. Since then I like to think my reading taste has evolved, but I still love a captivating story that I can get lost in. (Google image search “Never Ending Story apple reading” and you will see my spirit animal).
As much as I need to fuel my body with good food, I need to fuel my mind with insightful and inspiring content. My favorite genre to read is memoir, because to me there is nothing as fascinating as someone’s story. I’m definitely not above a good psychological thriller, because I love trying to solve mysteries, and the twisted characters are creepy and wonderful. If I’m listening to a book while running, it’s probably a Psychological Thriller.
I am actively trying to read (or listen to) more books on theme with health and wellness. I follow many podcasters, youtubers, and bloggers that focus on health and wellness, but I do feel that reading an entire book is a richer experience.
